Bill's Real Estate Blog - News to Use!

The Colorado Springs Financial and Administrative Services Department reported on Monday that February sales-tax collections rose 4.75 percent over February of 2009!

It is the fourth straight month of year-to-year increases.  These tax collections fund more than half the city's annual budget for general services such as police and fire, as well as parks and roads.  The greatest increases were provided by furniture and appliance stores, and department and discount stores.
