Elementary SchoolQuality education in public schools is a high priority in Colorado Springs and El Paso county, and is reflected in the consistently above-average SAT scores. Please refer to the Colorado Department of Education for particular districts SAT/ACT scores and Colorado Student Assessment Program (CSAP) Test Scores. Kindergarten, though not mandatory, is encouraged and available at all districts.

Harrison School District #2

Lying within the east and southeast portion of Colorado Springs, Harrison School District #2 includes Pikes Peak Park, Stratton Meadows, Stratmoor Hills, Stratmoor Valley, Southborough, Deerfield Hills, Panorama Addition, Cheyenne Meadows, Cheyenne Hills and Wildflower residential subdivisions. Widefield District #3

Located southeast of the city of Colorado Springs, Widefield District #3 is comprised of the largest unincorporated area in the state, including Widefield, Security, Southmoor, Clear-view, Peaceful Valley, the southern portion of Stratmoor Valley and the northern part of Fountain. Falcon District #49

Falcon School District #49 is located along the eastern border of Colorado Springs and serves the urban areas of Colorado Springs, the town of Falcon, the developments of Cimarron Hills, Constitution Hills, Stetson Hills, Paint Brush Hills and Colorado Springs Ranch. The district is bounded by Powers Boulevard on the west, The Elbert County line to the north; Peyton Highway to the east and the southern boundary is marked by a line one mile north of Highway 94.
