Bill's Real Estate Blog - News to Use!

As the economy increasingly moves online, cities who have the most highly educated residents and the highest incomes, are also the most "wired."  It's interesting to me that Colorado is the only state with two cities in the top ten, and Colorado Springs ranks even ahead of Denver!

Forbes magazine compiled a list of the most-wired cities by considering the percentage of Internet users with high-speed connections, the number of companies providing broadband Internet in the area, and the number of public wireless hotspots.

The top ten cities are:

* Raleigh, North Carolina
* Atlanta, Georgia
* Seattle, Washington
* San Francisco, California
* Washington, D.C.
* Colorado Springs, Colorado
* Denver, Colorado
* Baltimore, Maryland
* Orlando, Florida
* Portland, Oregon
