Good news continues for the local housing market!  February homes sales and prices rose again, continuing an upward trend for the Pikes Peak region's resale market.

The Pikes Peak Association of Realtors released a report March 4th that shows:

**  Sales totaled 572 in February, a 13.5 percent increase over February of 2009.  This was the eighth straight month that year-over-year sales have improved, after almost three years of declines.

**  The median price of homes sold in February increased 2.7 percent, to $182,000 when compared to February of 2009.  The report shows an increase for four consecutive months.

**  The supply of homes on the market decreased 12.7 percent from this same period in 2009.
